Buttock HARMONIZATION

Buttock harmonization is the procedure used to give projection, shape and support to the region. The most commom procedure is made with hyaluronic acid and/or calcium hydroxyapatite, substances approved by FDA and by the Brazilian Sanitary Surveillance Agency.

Problems like trochanteric depression, on the side of the buttocks, flattened, disproportion with the rest of the body and small size, can be reduced with buttock harmonization. The treatment is simple and does not require a downtime. The buttock harmonization can also define gluteus.

The application of liquid implant is made by microcannulas, blunt-tip needles are extremely thin and long. In buttock harmonization, there is an insertion of microcannulas into the skin with a regular needle, which helps accuracy of the filling process and also works as a bruising precaution. There is no need for stitches on buttock harmonization.

The blunt-tip microcannula, with its flexibility, can slide under the skin with lower risks of blow veins or nerves. Its narrow thickness and long length enables reaching any area, and evenly distributing the filler substance in buttock harmonization.

The implant has local anesthesia, under outpatient basis and none sleeping. During a buttock harmonization is possible to follow the process, opining about the application. The only recommendation for postprocedure is to keep (the surgery region) away from any physical effort for at least a week. Exercise for the gluteus requires medical authorization.

The hyaluronic acid for buttock harmonization has good acceptance among women and men, without hospitalization. While a small silicone prosthesis has 300ml and fixed form, the liquid implant is distributed according to the objective of buttock harmonization.

Treatments against cellulite can be combined with buttock filling. Caused by the accumulation of fibrosis, in its most severe stage, cellulite can cause nodules and pain. The indicated treatment in these cases is GoldIncision. A clearing technique that reduces the fibrosis under the skin, softening the imperfections of the region. Once done, buttock augmentation helps in the restoration of the gluteus shape.

The so-called trochanteric depression, on the lateral of the hip, can be reduced with hyaluronic acid buttock harmonization. The rigid silicone implant does not provide improvement in this respect, as a liquid moldable substance applied with flexible microcannulas does.

Recently a survey of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery found out that the resorbable fillings are the second most frequently nonsurgical procedure performed in the country, seconded only to botulinum toxin, known by the brand name “Botox”.
